Corrosion resistance is one of the most critical aspects in the design of steel tanks, especially in aggressive or industrial environments.

Hot-dip galvanizing has long been a well-established standard, thanks to its ability to protect steel from external agents. However, for the most critical structural components, at Rizzotto Group we have chosen to adopt even more advanced solutions.

We use high-strength carbon steel with Magnelis® coating, a technology developed by ArcelorMittal, produced through a hot-dip galvanizing process with an advanced composition of zinc, aluminum, and magnesium.

The presence of magnesium enables the formation of a stable and uniform protective layer, significantly improving corrosion resistance compared to traditional galvanized coatings, even in particularly harsh conditions.

A design choice that ensures greater reliability, reduced maintenance, and a longer service life of the tanks.
